[SOLVED] Ddj sx freeze with new MacBook air Hi, I used to work with macbook pro and recently switched to the new mac book air (mid 2013) with Mac OS X 10.8.4. I never had any issue with the macbookpro but since I switched the ddj-sx freezes all the time in the middle of a playback.
How is this still a thing? We’re already four versions into OS X 10.11, released in September of 2015, and there are still major issues for DJs, software, and hardware with every new update. This time it’s Pioneer DJ warning users of Serato and their DDJ-controller line that the devices will not be recognized in the new update.
Editor’s Update (3/8/16): Serato has announced that they now have this issue fixed with an OS X 10.11.4 + DDJ + Serato: Not Working Pioneer DJ and sent out an email to DJs around the world using their products to not upgrade to the newest, latest version of Apple’s OS X operating system, 10.11.4.
